Glad the FTC is taking action on this. Having to call or chat with an agent to cancel a membership is the worst.

Emma Roth writes:

“Under the rule, businesses can’t force customers to cancel a subscription using a method different from how they signed up.”

and:

“Most of the provisions in the ‘click-to-cancel’ rule will go into effect 180 days after it’s published in the Federal Register.”
